Sunday Sanctuary

Sunday morning I wake up pretty early

Hear something quite loud, look out the door and see throngs of people - a large massive crowd!

Off to church, mosque, and synagogue they ALL go inside, to see what God will have in store, and what he’ll provide

I like to think that the only place to be is in the outdoors, No sanctuary more beautiful, and no cold marble floors.

Nature sings, the earth teaches lessons I listen to sounds, an eagle circles above me as nature abounds

I don’t need a pulpit, an alter or sturdy wooden pews, I’ll take lakes, rivers and some mountains - a natural gorgeous view!

You can have the coldest cathedral, but I won’t go inside.  Worshipping in a darkened space is a lonely place to hide.

I like to be in a big meadow where flowers fill the air, a gift from Mother Nature - Her blessings are so rare.

I like to think that the only place to be is in the outdoors,

no sanctuary more beautiful and no cold marble floors.

That’s my Sunday  sanctuary, my everyday sanctuary
